What Solace is
Solace is a launchpad on top of pump.fun on Solana. Every coin launched here is a normal pump.fun coin: the same bonding curve, the same graduation to PumpSwap, tradable on pump.fun and every Solana app. Solace changes two things: how the coin launches, and where its creator fee goes.
The creator's launch bag goes into a Jupiter Lock escrow, the creator fee is split by pump.fun's own fee sharing with the split frozen for good, and a share of that fee fills a cashback pot for the coin's buyers.
How a launch works
- One approval, two transactions. Solana caps a transaction's size, so a launch is two transactions your wallet approves together. The first creates the coin with pump.fun's program and buys your launch bag. The second locks the bag, sets the fee split, and pays Solace's launch fee and the pot's account rent. Solace sends them one after the other.
- The launch bag goes into the lock. The tokens your launch buy receives move into a Jupiter Lock escrow in the second transaction. The bag is capped at 10% of the supply.
- The fee split is frozen. The same transaction sets up pump.fun fee sharing for the coin, writes the split, and revokes the admin. After that pump.fun itself refuses any change to the split, from the creator and from Solace.
- Checked before it is listed. Solace reads the chain after the launch: only a coin whose split is frozen and whose bag is in the escrow is listed and marked protected. If the second transaction doesn't land, the coin page says so and the creator can press Finish setup to sign it again.
- Terms are frozen per coin. The split and lock a coin launches with stay with that coin, even if Solace changes its defaults for future launches.
Where the fee goes
pump.fun pays every coin a creator fee on each trade: 0.3% on the bonding curve, and a tiered fee after it graduates to PumpSwap. On a Solace coin pump.fun splits it every time it is paid out:
60%
Creator — the wallet that launched the coin
30%
Cashback pot — this coin's buyers
10%
Solace — runs the service
Fees collect in the coin's pump.fun fee vault. Solace pays them out automatically every few minutes once enough has built up (anyone can also press Pay out now on the coin page); pump.fun sends each share straight to its wallet. The creator's share lands in the creator's wallet, no withdrawing needed.
Cashback rules
- Lots. Every buy opens a lot: how many tokens, what they cost in SOL (fees included), and when. Sells consume lots oldest first.
- Loss. A lot's loss is what it cost minus what the sold tokens actually fetched, after fees. Gains on other lots do not cancel losses.
- Minimum hold. Only lots held at least 1 hour count. A buy flipped within that window earns nothing, which closes the buy-and-sell farming loop.
- Rate. Cashback is 25% of the eligible loss, capped at 1 SOL per wallet per UTC week.
- Who is excluded. The coin's creator, its pot, Solace's own wallets and the lock escrow. Tokens that arrived by transfer have no cost and earn nothing.
- Paid in SOL, from the pot. Each coin has its own pot, and a pot only pays that coin's buyers. A claim pays what you are owed, up to what the pot holds; if it's short, the rest stays yours for later. Claims need no signature and Solace pays the network fee.
- Safety limit. Solace pays at most 25 SOL of cashback across all coins per 24 hours, so a bug can never empty the pots before anyone notices.
The creator lock
The launch bag releases evenly over 2 hours, starting right away. It sits in a Jupiter Lock escrow created with no cancel and no recipient change: nobody, Solace included, can take it out early or send it anywhere but the creator. As it unlocks, the creator takes the unlocked part out from the coin page.
What runs where
- On-chain, enforced by Solana programs: the coin and its curve (pump.fun), the fee split and that it can never change (pump.fun fee sharing), the bag lock (Jupiter Lock).
- On Solace's server: the cashback engine that reads every trade and works out losses, and the pot wallets. Each pot is a wallet only Solace's server can sign for. Every pot is public: watch it on Solscan from the coin page.
- Your wallet signs only transactions. Solace never asks for a message signature. Trades and the launch are built by Solace's server, shown in your wallet, and sent once you approve.
Fees
- Launch: Solace's launch fee (0.01 SOL), Solana account rent for the coin, its fee split, its lock and its pot (about 0.025 SOL with network fees), plus your launch bag.
- Trading: pump.fun's fees, the same as on pump.fun. Solace adds nothing on top of trades.
- Solace's share: 10% of the creator fee, the only ongoing fee.
- Claims and fee payouts: free; Solace pays the network fee.
